Meet Apress At These Upcoming Oracle Events This Spring
Spring conference season is upon us, and we are making plans to engage readers and authors in the Oracle topic space.
Look for as at the following events:
- Rocky Mountain Oracle Users Group"s annual Training Days conference in Denver, February 9-11.
- Georgia Oracle Users Group Tech Day in Atlanta, March 3.
- COLLABORATE16 in Las Vegas, April 10-14.
COLLABORATE16 is a collaborative event between the Independent Oracle Users Group (IOUG), the Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), and the Quest International Users Group. It is a conference independent from Oracle Corporation, and draws top talent from around the planet to speak and deliver workshops aimed at helping Oracle professionals advance in their careers. Apress is pleased to be exhibiting again this year. We'll have two editors on site to represent our books, hear feedback, and talk over new book ideas.
Tech Day is an annual event by the Georgia Oracle Users Group. Apress was honored last year to have our editor on site for the group's reboot at their Evolving Databases Symposium. We are upping our support this year by exhibiting too at this now annual event.
Training Days is a long-standing favorite event for our database editor who looks forward to escaping the Upper Peninsula's snow by spending a few days each February in Downtown Denver.
Apress is enthusiastic about supporting the Oracle community through publishing great books for working professionals. Watch for use at these events. We'd love to hear feedback on how we're doing, and of course we are always interested in new book ideas and good authors who can make those ideas into reality.
